Publisher description

ASIO4ALL comes from Audio Stream Input/Output for all and is a computer sound card driver protocol developed by Michael Tippach for digital audio specifications of Steinberg. The protocol enables low-latency and high-fidelity interface between the user's computer sound card and a program. With ASIO, sound engineers and musicians have the possibility to process audio through a Windows PC software application rather than external hardware components. This translates to the fact that the protocol sends the audio path from the application via the intermediary software in Windows, to connect to the sound card directly. ASIO4ALL started as project for the personal use of the developer Michael Tippach, but now it is widely used as the smart driver got many updates, proving low-latency input and output for any type of sound device.
